Dubbed as “real-life Barbie”, supermodel Duckie Thot has been making waves in the fashion industry ever since she made her runway debut in 2017. The 23-year-old has walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret, Valentino, Savage X Fenty, H&M X Moschino, Balmain, Jeremy Scott and Yeezy, to name a few. And starred in campaigns for coveted brands like Oscar de la Renta, Moschino, Urban Decay and Topshop.

A fierce champion of inclusivity, the Sudanese-Australian model is pushing the world of fashion toward a more diverse and inclusive future, one campaign at a time.

She was recently named as the new face of L’Oréal Paris Makeup — and if you look at her petite features and flawless skin, it makes total sense!

Despite all the traveling, jet lag and heavy makeup use, Thot boasts of incredibly beautiful and clear skin.

So, what’s the secret mantra behind her smooth, glowing skin? The answer is: staying hydrated. “For me, hydration is the key! Beauty products can only build from there,” says Thot. She also stresses on eating a clean diet and getting adequate sleep.

When it comes to daily skin care routine, the supermodel likes to keep things simple, using only a limited number of basic beauty products.

Here are the seven skin care essentials the Fenty Beauty model swears by:

Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser ($39)

DERMALOGICA

Dermalogica’s UltraCalming Cleanser is an extremely mild, non-foaming cream cleanser that soothes overprocessed skin while gently removing impurities, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier and repairs skin damage caused by pollution, sun exposure, harsh chemicals in makeup and other environmental stresses. The pH balanced cleanser is perfect for people with dry or sensitive skin. Its key ingredients include cucumber which soothes irritated skin, lavender for reducing redness, raspberries to rejuvenate and brighten dull complexion and oats for treating inflammation.

“After cleansing, I apply some rosewater toner on my face before moving on to moisturizing,” tells Thot.

Lancôme Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Moisturizing Cream ($48)

There’s a reason why Thot (and many other beauty buffs) are obsessed with these cleansing facial wipes. Formulated with skin-nourishing ingredients like Vitamin E, Vitamin B, triple purified water and glycerin, these super-soft wipes effectively remove makeup, excess oil, dirt and other impurities from the skin while replenishing lost moisture —leaving your skin squeaky clean and hydrated.

Lancôme’s overnight mask is one of the two face masks Thot absolutely loves and uses on a regular basis. The non-greasy sleeping pack combines the goodness of both serum and face mask. Its lightweight formula penetrates quickly into the skin, working through the night to soothe, refresh and revitalize dull, stressed out skin — while you catch your zzz’s enveloped in its delicate fragrance.
